Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (L)

Welcome to Vietnam, the land of unique culture and stunning landscapes!
Upon your arrival, your tour guide will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in a deluxe car. Check in hotel and relax. The day is free so depending on what time you arrive in the city you can visit the city’s famous monuments such as the Temple of Literature or just take a walk around Hoan Kiem lake to admire the poetic beauty of Hanoi. Night in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay (B, L, D)

Around 8:00am, you will embark on a relaxing trip to Bai Tu Long Bay. We will pick up at your hotel and drive you to Halong city where you will get on a Chinese-style junk for an overnight cruise through the absolutely stunning waters of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. You will enjoy delicious seafood, chicken, pork and so much more just as we start sailing away from the shore. This natural wonder doesn’t come up short on views. Traditional sampans sail the crystal waters of the Gulf of Tonkin where nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea. While cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay you will admire the fascinating rock formations before relaxing, swimming or kayaking on a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island. Dinner and night on board.

Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, you will visit Vung Vieng fishing village with a rustic row-boat before heading back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free. Why don’t you visit Tran Quoc pagoda, Quan Thanh temple, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the Ancient citadel or St Joseph Catheral in the Old Quarter? Night in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Hue (B, L)

In the morning, your guide will take you to the airport to go to Hue (1:20 long flight). Hue is a beautiful town with a mysterious royal soul still very present. After lunch, your guide will tell you all about Hue’s Imperial City, it’s Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, the Forbidden Purple City and much more. Then, you will go to Dong Ba market. You will see the vibrant colors of vegetables, spices, fabrics, etc, and watch the daily life in Hue.Night in Hue.

Day 5: Hue (B, L)

At 8:00am, you will be transferred to the pier to sail across the Perfume River. You will stop on the way to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Hon Chen temple and Minh Mang mausoleum. After lunch, you will cycle to the tombs of Emperors Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. They include 50 monuments built by over 3000 soldiers and workers between 1864 and 1867. We will continue your visit at Tu Hieu pagoda, nested at the top of a hill. The last destination of the day is Hue handicraft village, famous for its conical hat making tradition. Hue conical hat is called "Poem hat" because it is very delicate. Night in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Bach Ma - Hue

Bach Ma National Park is situated in the center of Truong Son, about 50km away from Hue. You will leave your hotel at 8:00am and you will arrive 1:30 later at Bach Ma National Park. We will take you at the top of Bach Ma National Park. You will discover the beautiful Do Quyen Waterfall. It is more than 300m high and 20-30m wide. After lunch, you will walk to Hai Vong Dai Sea Observation Post where you will have a panoramic view of the sea. In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the Elephant Spring where you will have a chance to enjoy the pure and fresh spring water. Then you will go back to Hue for the night.

Day 7: Hue – Hoi An (B, L)

In the morning, you will leave Hue and continue your journey South directly to Hoi An. You will be free to spend the rest of the afternoon exploring and shopping in the charming city of Hoi An or going to the beach. Night in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An (B, L)

Hoi An is an ancient Japanese port of trade. Much of Hoi An's picturesque wooden architecture remains in this small, pleasant town. There are plenty of things to see!
In the morning, you will join a traditional cooking class. First, you will go to the market with the chef to know how to choose each ingredient. Then, the chef will do a demonstration and help you cook a few dishes which you will have for lunch. Hoi An is the kingdom of tailor shops and if you want to get some nice custom made clothes in no time, the cooking class is a great way to wait for your clothes to be ready.
In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Japanese Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda and the vibrant market. Night in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An – Cham Island – Hoi An (B, L)

Around 8:30am, you will be transferred by car to the pier. Relax and enjoy a nice 30min long boat trip to Cham Island with water, fruits and other drinks available on board. Once you get to the island, you will go scuba diving to see the coral reefs around the island. You will walk on Chong Beach and have lunch on the beach under the palms trees. In the afternoon, you can go swimming, dive again with a mask and fins, canoe or simply sunbathe in a hammock on the beach. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the beginning of the afternoon. Night in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An – My Son – Danang – HCM (B, L)

UNESCO World Heritable My Son was built and inhabited by Cham people between the IVth and the XIIIth century. The heritage buildings are surrounded by mountains which form the watershed of holy river Thu Bon. About 70 red brick temples have withstood the passage of time. At 8am, we will come at your hotel and take you in the foothills of the mountain from where you will walk to reach My Son sanctuary. At 11am, you will leave My Son and head to Danang where you will catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Night in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: HCM – Mui Ne (B)

After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Phan Tiet (4:30 away from HCM), Mui Ne beach to be more precise. The landscapes change to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and dragon fruit trees. Mui Ne is famous in Vietnam for its huge red and white sand dunes. Free time all day. If you are interested in golf, please let us know when you book this tour. It is not included in the tour but we will make you benefit from our reduced prices! Night in Mui Ne.

Day 12: Mui Ne (B)

Free time all day. Night in Mui Ne.

Day 13: Mui Ne – HCM (B, L)

At 8:00am, your guide will take you back to Ho Chi Minh city. After having lunch in the city upon your arrival, you will visit Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, both built during the colonial period, and the Reunification Palace. The evening is yours. You could go to Ben Thanh night market to discover Ho Chi Minh’s bustling nightlife. Night in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 14: HCM – Departure (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport.
