Phan Thiet

The capital of Binh Thuan province, Phan Thiet, is a small-but-thriving Vietnamese city, and would be a decent destination for tourists in its own right.
Phan Thiet - Sand dunes & Nuoc mam

About 200 km north of Ho Chi Minh City are Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. Together, these traditional fishing villages are fast becoming a popular leisure destination. Resort-style developments have been rising along the coastline, though so far the lives of the fishing communities remain unchanged and Mui Ne long beach is quiet and serene, great for walks, jogging and spectacular sunsets.

Before the discovery of Mui Ne, Phan Thiet was an emerging resort town in its own right. The town is traditionally known for its fish sauce (nuoc mam), an ingredient in most Vietnamese dishes, here producing 16 to 17 million litres/annum.

Muine beach is 22km east of Phan Thiet, fishing village at the tip of the Muine Cave, Cham towers. What hasn’t changed is the town’s sleepy charm! A variety of water activities such as sailing, parasailing, windsurfing, golf courses, beautiful pagodas.

And fresh seafood eaten on the sandy beach, from a perfect end to a fun-filled day. Mui Ne have a wide range of accommodation, and restaurants offer a huge selection of seafood at very affordable prices.

The river flowing through the centre of town creates a small fishing harbour, which is always chock-a-block with brightly painted boats.

The complex is a masterpiece of the Cham nation - Poshanu tower, where three towers can still been admire. These constructions of Hoa Lai artistic style date back to the 8th century. They are located on a hill, 6km north-east of Phan Thiet city, which is named the prince Palace.

Hon Rom beach is clean and beautiful with clear blue water. Calm winds sing lullabies unceasingly under cool shadows of coconuts trees sagging under the weight of their fruit. White sand dunes follow the yellow ones.. All set up a wild attraction, inviting tourists to this well-known a field resort.
